Attended ash scattering services offers family and loved ones the option to view the scattering services aboard the Sunfish. The Sunfish can accommodate up to 50 passengers and has indoor and outdoor cushioned seating with great views, access to the boat is easy with no steps to climb and is wide, has a bathroom, a self service galley with microwave and refrigerator for food and beverages you can bring, and we include music services on board. The size of our vessel, assures a stable ride, for those that are concerned with motion sickness and challenging ocean environments, this can be quite comforting.
We depart from Channel Islands Harbor and travel 3 miles outside the breakwater of the Harbor. Other selected locations may vary in time. Coastal destinations can be arranged such as Anacapa Islands Arch.
When we reach the destination the scattering of ashes is performed. Once the scattering service is complete we will take you on a short coastal memorable cruise.
After the service you can elect to have a Celebration of Life Luncheon aboard our other vessel, the Scarlett Belle luxury paddlewheeler riverboat, in the beautiful Channel Islands Harbor with lunch served. Package includes the option to show a remembrance video that can be played on our plasma screens for your guest and music services with a wide selection of songs.
